Mayank 'AlwayslimpAA' Jaggi wins Dec Millionaire!

Delhi-based player makes a 12 lakhs score

The month of December brings to an end this eventful year and the man who made his mark at the beginning of this month was 30 year old Mayank Jaggi who won the fourth edition of 's Millionaire special. Overcoming a field of 966 entries, Jaggi was the last man standing and claimed top prize of INR 12,07,500 for his tremendous effort. Working as a senior consultant for Deloitte in Gurgaon, Jaggi is an engineer by education and picked up poker via the Zynga app on Facebook about 5 years ago. Progressing from a newbie to a learning player, he continued his poker education by reading up and playing micro stakes home games with his friends. A visit to a card room in an offshore Goa casino made him aware of the domestic poker landscape.

A win worth INR 20 lacs for the Kolkata player

The third edition of the Millionaire in November was even more special than usual. Being part of the Diwali celebrations week at Spartan Poker, this special edition of the Millionaire featured 20 lakhs as the first place guaranteed prize. That's right it was double the usual guarantee! Ranjan Chowdhary, a 26 year old player who goes by 'tripking' prevailed over a record field of 1558 entries to take down the biggest ever edition of this mega tournament. Chowdhary who works as director of a beverage company took the lion's share of the INR 82.29 lacs prizepool (formed by unique players: 1022, re-entries: 536) on his way to claiming the title.

The first Sunday of October saw one very happy individual in the form of 23 year old Haider 'NutBuster' Madraswala who grabbed the title of Millionaire whilst taking home a massive INR 12,08,750 for his win on Sunday night! This marquee event broke its previous attendance records on all fronts including number of unique entries, re-entries and total entries for the tournament. A total of 967 entries (unique: 643, re-entries: 324) created a massive prize pool of INR 48,35,000 which were distributed to the top 70 finishers.

's recent addition to its tournament lineup was the heavily anticipated 'Millionaire', an event which guaranteed a sum of INR 10 lacs to the first place finisher. 28-year-old Manoj 'kissmyaces' Pentakota grabbed the first ever 'Millionaire' title on 4 September outlasting 576 entries to score 10.60 lacs for the win!
Pentakota has been playing professional poker for about a year and this is without question his biggest ever win.
