Don't worry, here is a curated list of standard poker hand rankings for the most popular poker games online. These rankings can apply to all high-hand poker games online including Texas Holdem, Omaha Poker, and Stud. Let's dig right in.

Poker Hand Rankings from Highest to Lowest

1. Royal Flush

A royal flush is one of the most popular poker hands that consists of cards ranging from a ten to an ace with all the five cards from the same suit. Remember, these cards are ranked consecutively. For example, a ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of hearts.

2. Straight Flush

A straight flush consists of five cards numbered consecutively from the same suit. For example, 5,6,7,8,9 of Spades.

3. Four of a Kind

Four of kind consists of any four cards of the same rank, from any suit. For example, an ace of hearts, an ace of diamonds, an ace of spades, an ace of clubs, and a king of hearts. Also, if any two players get the same four of a kind on the board, the highest fifth card decides who wins the pot.

4. Full House

A full house consists of any three cards of the same rank combined with a pair of the same rank. For example, an ace of hearts, an ace of spades, an ace of diamonds combined with a King of hearts, and a King of spades. This is the highest possible full house five-card combination in poker hand rankings.

5. Flush

Flush consists of any five cards of the same suit that are not consecutive. The highest card of the five-card combination determines the rank of the flush. For example, an ace of spades, a ten of spades, a seven of spades, a six of spades, and a 2 of spades. Ace being the highest-ranked card, this is the highest possible flush in poker hand rankings.

6. Straight

Straight consists of any five consecutively numbered cards of different suits. For example, a 5 of hearts, a 4 of clubs, a 3 of spades, a 2 of diamonds, and an Ace of hearts. Aces can be counted as either a high card or a low card, depending upon the hand combination.

7. Three of a Kind

A three of a kind poker hand consists of any three cards of the same rank. For example, an ace of hearts, an ace of spades, and an ace of diamonds combined with a king of spades, and a queen of clubs. Also, this is the highest possible three-of-a-kind five-card combination in the poker hand rankings.

8. Two Pair

Two pair consists of any two cards of the same rank combined with another two cards of the same rank. For example, an ace of hearts, and an ace of spades combined with a king of clubs and a king of diamonds, and a queen of clubs. The highest pair of the two will determine the rank of the two pair. In this case, this is the best possible two-pair with aces and kings.

9. One Pair

One pair consists of any two cards of the same rank. For example, an ace of hearts, an ace of spades combined with a king of hearts, a queen of spades, and a jack of diamonds. This is the best possible one-pair five-card combination in poker hand rankings.

10. High Card

The high card consists of any hand, not in the aforementioned hands. For example, an ace of hearts, a king of spades, a queen of clubs, a jack of diamonds, and a 9 of spades. The fifth best highest card wins the pot, in this case since Ace is the highest card, this comprises the best possible high card hand.
